Tynesha Spikes-Head Theatre Director

Is the Head Theatre Director at Hightower High School here in Fort Bend ISD. She is a teacher, actress, poet, playwright, business owner, and fine arts advocate. Mrs. Spikes, founder of the TySpikes Foundation Inc., is a product of FBISD. She graduated with a performing arts degree from Prairie View A&M University and has two Master Degrees, one in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M and the other in Theatre from the University of Houston. She has been teaching theatre going on 20 years now (10 being with Fort Bend ISD). She loves her students as her own, not to mention she happens to be a mom of six, ages 6-16. This year she is eager to continue making history with the program and to do what they do best, tell stories and entertain. She is humbled to work with many talented students that will embark on this journey with her.  Every year the department is growing and expanding to become a spectacular program. "Act well your part"! (you know the rest). Onward to a great 24-25 school year.

Sheri Shoemake - Technical Director

Is the Technical Theatre Director at Hightower High School here in Fort Bend ISD. This is her tenth year teaching.  She is very excited to be at Hightower High School as she is a Fort Bend ISD Alumni; She went to Sugarland Junior High, Dulles her freshman year and was the second graduating class from Clements High School, where she studied Theatre under Jerry Baber. She has a B.A. from the University of North Texas in Theatre and Anthropology and a Masters in Theatre from the University of Houston.  She is also GT Certified.

She has been working in professional theatre for the past 40 years. She has designed lights for two Presidents – George W. Bush & George H.W. Bush.  She is currently the Entertainment Manager for Comicpalooza and the Stage Manager for Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra.  She is very excited to be part of the PPH family!

Roderick Brannon- Musical Director
 

has been teaching Mathematics for over 15 years. His motto is, "Math is Logic, and Logic is thinking. Thus, allowing yourself to fully comprehend the challenging and often abstract concepts of Mathematics is directly related to the level of critical thinking ability that you possess."  So, let's get ready to think! 
Mr Brannon has been the Musical Director for Poseidon's Playhouse for the past 6 years and has appeared in In The Heights and Dreamgirls
